Looking back on 26.

I turn 27 tomorrow.

Sitting here tonight and reminiscing on how wonderful this past year has been to me. I'm amazed, proud and truly blessed.

D and I celebrated 10 years together

I was bridesmaid at my bestfriend's wedding

I married the love of my life. In 3 different ceremonies

Had the most amazing wedding in Bali with 85 of our closest friends

Witnessed a few beautiful weddings

Finally got to bring D and my besties to meet my family in Indonesia

Built stronger relationships with my bestfriends

Went on the most amazing honeymoon to the Maldives

I started blogging and have met some lovely people through it

Landed an amazing job

Hit 7 years working in the same company which now gives me amazing benefits with travel - Business class has my name all over it!!!

became a nail polish addict. hehehe

I don't feel like I'm nearly 27 at all, I don't feel a day over 18 to be honest. I remember in High School looking at 27 year olds and thinking.. Geeee they are SO old. I don't feel old at all. I can't believe my mum had a 7 year old me running around when she was my age. I don't think I could do it just yet.

We have a few more exciting things to come in the future. D will go back to England for footy in a few years, for a few years hopefully and I will go with him this time, travelling around Europe, starting our own little G family - God willing, buying a house in the burbs near Mum and Dad.

I'm excited about whats to come and I'm ready. Being closer to 30 isn't as scary as I'd imagined but ask me again when I turn 29. Lol.

Revlon Lip Butters!

This morning I did the unthinkable. 

I woke up early on my day off and sped off to my nearest Priceline to get my hands on some Revlon Lip Butters.

I have been watching and reading about these little beauties for months now, especially from ladies in the US. We are sooo behind here in Australia, it's sooo sad.

Priceline is currently having a buy one get one FREE special on their lip and nail range.

One Lip Butter would usually set you back $21.95 but for $11 each! Bargain! and I know I could probably get them a little cheaper on ebay but I seriously cannot be bothered with waiting anymore.

When I arrived at exactly 9.10am the stand was looking so sparse! I wanted these 6 colours and so I could also take advantage and get the beauty bag when you spend over $60. I got chatting to a lovely staff member who couldn't understand the hype and told me they had been flying out all week, she went out the back and there was a tiny box with the other 2 colours I wanted! yayyyyyyyyy!!!

I just love the packaging, I like that the tube matches the lip colour, so it's easy to find the colour your after if they're all in your make up bag. The quilting is cute, it looks kinda retro.

As many of you already know, Lip Butters are super moisturising and very pigmented while feeling just like a lip-balm. Some appeared very sheer but build able. 

I couldn't wait to get home and swatch these babies!

I love ALL the colours especially Cherry Apple, definitely a colour I could wear on a daily basis. They feel so fantastic on my lips and do not stain, which is awesome.

There is a colour to suit everyone!

I know a lot of ladies have gone nuts for this today and I don't blame them. I've been reading about empty stands and limited stock all day on Twitter.

I've been jumping with joy for the past hour because I got the job!

Yipeeeeeeee!!!!!

I kinda kept this one under the radar but I had the interview last Thursday and got offered the position today.

Still with the same company and within the same area, just no more night or weekend shifts and no more sitting on the phone in "available". Yessssss, oh, yessssssss.

I'm replacing a lovely lady who is now our supervisor in the call centre, I've been basically hanging for this job for the last 2 years, an opportunity came up for her and her old job has come up for me!

I'll be working 4 ten hour days and 3 days off, I'm allowed to select which day I would prefer off (Unfortunately Monday or Friday isn't allowed) So I'm going to go with Wednesdays off! Having hump day off will be amazing! D also has wednesday as his recovery day, so I'll get to annoy him every Wednesday too.

I haven't had a normal-ish job for about 7 years, so I'm thrilled and super excited!
