Before we got engaged, we knew we wanted to get married somewhere different. We loved Bali as a holiday destination and one day on holidays D said "how awesome would a wedding in Bali be?" I thought YES! so awesome. I was always thinking of it but he said it not me. This was about 3 years before we even got engaged.
I also thought about the cost of weddings. Compared to weddings in Australia, and vendors here who jack up the price for anything and everything once you say the word wedding, the idea of Bali was becoming much more appealing.
In Bali weddings can cost as little or as much as you like. From a simple blessing ceremony to the most extravagant, luxurious, exclusive wedding you can think off, it can be done.
